Victor Richard Ellena (born Christchurch, 15 January 1951) is a New Zealand Anglican bishop. He is the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Nelson since 5 February 2007.〔Who's Who 2008: London, A & C Black, 2008 ISBN 978-0-7136-8555-8〕 He was educated at the University of Canterbury after which he worked as a teacher until studying for the Priesthood. He was ordained an Anglican priest in 1985 and has held incumbencies at Kensington-Otipua,〔(Bishop’s Biography )〕 Blenheim and Marlborough, where he was also the area's Archdeacon.〔( NZ clerical Directory )〕 He was consecrated bishop of the Diocese of Nelson at 5 February 2007.
